You stay at the Pyramids Park Resort Cairo or a similar 4-star hotel. Your first full day takes in the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx, then the Step Pyramid of King Djoser at Saqqara. The next day you explore the Grand Egyptian Museum and the historic Khan El Khalili Bazaar before boarding the overnight train south to Aswan. In Aswan you visit Philae Temple on Agilika Island, the Unfinished Obelisk in the ancient granite quarries and the Aswan High Dam, then board your cruise. The ship sails north to Kom Ombo Temple and on to Edfu for the Temple of Horus, before reaching Luxor for the Karnak Temple Complex and Luxor Temple. On your final sightseeing morning you explore the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon on Luxor's West Bank. From Luxor, you transfer to Hurghada and the Jasmine Palace Resort or a similar 5-star hotel on the Red Sea. Two full days of sun, sea and beach follow, with breakfast, lunch and dinner included, before your transfer to Hurghada International Airport. Optional extras include a Nile dinner cruise with a folklore show in Cairo, a sleeper-train or flight upgrade to Aswan, a Nubian village boat trip, the Abu Simbel temples, a sunrise hot-air balloon flight over Luxor and activities in Hurghada.
