Overview

Your journey to Egypt starts with the flight already taken care of. This nine-day tour includes your international flight to Cairo, a 5-star full-board Nile cruise from Aswan to Luxor and a sunrise hot-air balloon flight over Luxor, with a professional English-speaking Egyptologist guide throughout. On arrival at Cairo International Airport, you receive a VIP greeting with assistance through visa procedures and a transfer to your hotel. Your first full day is spent at the Great Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx, followed by a guided tour of the Grand Egyptian Museum and the treasures of Tutankhamun. A domestic flight takes you to Aswan for Philae Temple, the High Dam and the Unfinished Obelisk before you board your cruise. The ship sails north to Kom Ombo Temple, then on to the Temple of Horus at Edfu, before reaching Luxor for guided tours of the Karnak Temple Complex and Luxor Temple. Your final morning in Luxor begins with an included sunrise hot-air balloon flight over the West Bank, followed by the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. You then fly back to Cairo for a last day of exploring: the Step Pyramid of Djoser at Saqqara, the Bent and Red Pyramids at Dahshur, and Memphis with its museum of colossal statues. Your international flight to Cairo, the domestic flights from Cairo to Aswan and Luxor to Cairo, accommodation including the cruise, meals as listed in the itinerary and all ground transfers in air-conditioned vehicles are included.
